グーグルは7月から米国でサービスを開始していた、Webアプリケーション内で利用者に課金できる「Google In-APP Payments API for the Web」を、日本を含む17カ国でも利用可能にしたと発表しました。Google In-App Payments API for the Webは今年の5月に行われたイベント「Google I/O」で発表されたサービスです。グーグルが提供するJavaScript APIをWebサイトやWebアプリケーションに組み込むことで、課金機能が実装できるというもの。
